The ceremony lasts approximately two hours and is held within a beautiful, sacred container in the healing embrace of Tulum, providing a safe and supportive space for deep transformation and integration.
Opening and Intention Setting (30 minutes)
We begin by sitting in sacred conversation. This is a time to share what has brought you to the medicine, what is seeking healing, and where your energy is at. Through this dialogue, a deeper understanding emerges, allowing for the medicine to meet you exactly where you are.
If needed, Rapéh (Hapé)—a sacred tobacco snuff—may be offered to calm the mind, center the spirit, and prepare the body for the medicine. A prayer of protection and gratitude is then spoken, invoking divine guidance for the journey ahead.
Entering the Medicine Space (30 minutes)
As the Bufo Alvarius medicine is received, the journey begins. This experience is deeply unique to each individual. Some experience complete ego dissolution—merging into pure consciousness, infinite love, and divine intelligence. Others may be guided into deep emotional purging, the release of stored trauma, or powerful visionary states.
This portion of the ceremony is held in deep reverence and silence, allowing the sacred intelligence of the medicine to work. It is normal to be in a completely timeless space where insights, healing, and divine downloads occur effortlessly.
Sacred Reflection and Integration (30 minutes or more as needed)
Following the journey, a period of quiet reflection is honored. Some may feel the need to sit in stillness, while others may wish to softly express what they have experienced. This sacred processing time allows the wisdom of the medicine to fully integrate into the body, mind, and spirit.
To support the return to the physical realm, fresh fruit is offered as a grounding nourishment. An oracle card reading is also provided to offer additional insight, guidance, and clarity for the integration process.
